This consultation is required for all new clients interested in Starter Locs, Microlocs, Loc Extensions or Loc Repairs. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your hair goals, desired size, parting options, pricing, maintenance, timing and overall hair health to determine the best service for you. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and make sure we’re a good fit for each other.

Consultation IN PERSON

$20.00 deposit required

Please arrive with your hair in its natural state, free of heavy oils, gels, edge control, wigs, braids, twists or excessive product buildup so your hair and scalp can be properly assessed. This is for starter locs, microlocs, loc repairs and extensions.

Retwist (Choose Options)

This service is perfect for maintaining neat, healthy locs while preserving the integrity of your hair. ⁣ ⁣ Your locs will be thoroughly shampooed to remove buildup, followed by a retwist using the locsmithing and palm roll method. Retwist if the new growth to restore definition and uniformity.

Repair Retwist

Restore and refresh your locs with a repair retwist service customized to your hair needs. This service includes a shampoo, retwist, crochet repair, reattaching detached locs, cutting and reinstalling locs when needed, light parting/grid corrections, and overall maintenance to help bring your locs back to life. If you are unsure which repair service to book or need a more detailed assessment, please schedule a free consultation before booking.

Kids Retwist Services

This service includes a shampoo, retwist, optional style, and dryer time for children with established locs who can sit for salon services and follow directions. Primarily for ages 8–10; siblings as young as 6 may be accepted case by case if they are comfortable in a salon setting and able to sit for the full service. For the best experience, please book when your child is well-rested, fed, and prepared to sit. Children who receive regular hair care at home typically have the most successful appointments. While some nervousness is normal, screaming, kicking, hitting, or refusing service is not. If a child becomes physically combative or cannot complete the service, the appointment will be ended and any deposits will be forfeited. Children on the Spectrum Welcome Long= Hang over Shoulder

Half Up Half Down Quickweave

Half Up, Half Down Quickweave Over Locs Service includes a shampoo, retwist, complete drying time, and a half up, half down quickweave style installed over your locs. Weave Ponytail Over Locs

$15.00 deposit required

Weave Ponytail Over Locs Switch up your look with a sleek or textured ponytail installed over your locs. This service includes a shampoo, retwist, complete drying time, and a weave ponytail customized to your desired style. HAIR IS NOT INCLUDED. If using loose hair, 2 packs or bundles are recommended for the best results. Drawstring ponytails are also accepted. Goddess Faux Loc Ponytail

Goddess Loc Ponytail Over Locs Create a beautiful, full ponytail using faux goddess locs for a protective style that blends seamlessly with your natural locs. This service includes a shampoo, retwist, complete drying time, and a goddess loc ponytail customized to your desired look. HAIR IS PROVIDED for this service. Extended 2 Strand Twists

Extended Two-Strand Twists Over Locs Add length and a fresh new look with extended two-strand twists created using Cuban Twist Hair. This service includes a shampoo, retwist, complete drying time, and two-strand twists customized to your desired length and style. HAIR IS PROVIDED for this service. Loc Takedown/Comb Out

$50.00 deposit required

Ready for a new journey? Loc takedowns are performed carefully to preserve as much of your natural hair as possible. Pricing varies based on the length, size, density, and condition of your locs. A consultation is required. Most takedowns require multiple hours and may need to be completed over more than one session. EXPECT A CALL WITHIN 24 HOURS TO SCHEDULE CONSULTATION!

Mini Twists

No Hair- Lightweight, versatile mini twists created using your natural hair only.⁣ ⁣ Includes cleanse, blow dry, neat parting, and full installation. Pricing varies based on length; incl hair!

2 Strand Twists (Natural Hair)

$15.00 deposit required

This service is for loose natural hair only — not for locs. Two-strand twists are installed on detangled, stretched hair to create a clean, defined style that promotes moisture retention and low-maintenance wear. This is a great option for clients looking for a protective style without committing to locs. Pricing increases based on length and thickness of hair.

Loc Detox

Enjoy this luxury treatment that will leave your Locs & Scalp clean & reset! This helps to restore your pH to allow your scalp to operate at its best! Removes product buildup, lint and particles from pillowcases, hats, hoods, etc.

Style Only No Retwist

$15.00 deposit required

Choose from styles such as barrel twists, updos, petals, ponytails, braids, buns, or other basic loc styles. This is also for half retwists. Great for microlocs, special occasions, vacations, or refreshing your look between maintenance appointments.

Long Hair/Over 80 Locs

This add-on applies to clients with longer locs or higher loc density, which require additional time, product, and detailed attention. ⁣ ⁣ Selecting this add-on helps maintain scheduling accuracy and allows each client to receive focused, unhurried care. ⁣ ⁣ Please select this option when booking if applicable. Failure to add it may result in appointment and pricing adjustments.

Shampoo & Braid Down

$5.00 deposit required

Prep your natural hair for wigs, sew ins or protective styling with a healthy hair focused braid down service. This service includes a clarifying shampoo, moisturizing treatment, scalp care and blow dry to cleanse, hydrate and prep the hair before braiding. Hair will then be neatly braided into 4–8 straight back cornrows designed to create a smooth, flat foundation for your desired style. This service is ideal for clients needing a clean, long lasting braid down while still prioritizing scalp and hair health. Does not include extensions, wig install or added hair. Please arrive with previous styles removed and hair fully detangled if possible.

Wash Blow N Go!

Treat yourself to a relaxing reset with our Shampoo, Conditioner & Blow Dry service. Perfect for clients preparing for braids, protective styles, DIY styling at home or anyone simply needing a professional wash day after a long week. This service includes a thorough shampoo, conditioning service and blow dry to leave the hair feeling clean, refreshed and manageable. No styling, braiding, trimming or additional treatments are included with this service. Hair will be blow dried only. Want extra moisture and softness? Add on a Steam Treatment to help improve hydration, support dry hair and allow moisture to better penetrate the hair shaft for a healthier feel and appearance.

Beginner Hands-On Loctician Training Whether you're looking to maintain your own family's locs, earn additional income, or begin a career as a loctician, Loc Foundations was designed with beginners in mind.
